عصبی بودم... بخاطر حضور مامورانی که از قبل میشناختمشون!!!
ناراحت بودم... از رفت و آمد روزانه به کلانتری برای پس گرفتن کارت شناسایی و ...
در یک لحظه طلایی از توی جوب با نوش جان کردن ضربات باتوم هایی که درست به هدف نخورد! از حلقه محاصره گذشتم... و در میان خانمها پناه گرفتم!

About hundreds of women staged an unauthorized demonstration in Tehran today, protesting gender discrimination in Iran’s Constitution, just days before the June 17 presidential elections. The protest was the first public display of dissent by women since the 1979 revolution, when the new regime enforced obligatory veiling. "We are women, we are the children of this land, but we have no rights," they chanted. Police clubbed several women, and some women were detained and dragged away by officers. The protestors demanded the followings in the “Final Proclamation of the Women's Gathering to Protest Violations of their Rights in the Constitution”:
“-stop the forced marriage of girls throughout different corners of the land
- secure the rights of mothers to custody and guardianship of their children
- prevent polygamy (official and unofficial) and unequal divorces
- expand the rights of young women to make decisions for their lives
- struggle against the perspective that holds women’s worth to be half that of men’s
- establish women’s shelters, decrease violence against women, and prevent honor-killings
- prevent women’s self-burning which results from despair of their social and personal lives
- institutionalize democracy and freedom in our society
- and so on…
Ultimately, we want progressive laws and human rights to support our efforts towards expanding gender consciousness among women (or at the very least, not have legal obstacles block our pursuit). Towards this goal, we declare, “Equal rights is our minimum demand.”

The declaration ends with the following statements:

“The Constitution holds a limited perspective of women, withholds legal recognition of specific groups of women, and denies women’s equal and fundamental rights. Therefore:
1.We demand that the Constitution and other laws of the land comply with international agreements, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women, so that the equal and fundamental rights of women are legally recognized.
2. If government officials do not secure our rightful and just demands, we, women, will continue our peaceful and civil protest.”
