عکسهای پشت صحنه اپرای عروسکی "رستم و سهراب"

Photos are taken from Rostam and Sohrab puppet opera - a joint undertaking of Iran and Austria - which is currently being performed in Tehran’s Ferdowsi Hall and will continue until April 18. The opera involves 100 marionettes and 15 puppeteers. It is composed and conducted by Loris Cheknavarian, one of the famous contemporary Iranian composers, and is directed by Behrouz Gharibpour.

The tragedy of Rostam and Sohrab is part of Shahnameh, the masterpiece epic by Ferdowsi (935–1020), one of the legendary Iranian poets.
